Our materials are made in the United States of 1.9 oz. RIPSTOP nylon. Its strength, resiliency and high degree of compressibility is why it is used in military and civilian parachutes, parasails and hot air balloons. To this incomparable cloth, we have added three coatings that make the cover waterproof, ultraviolet proof and fire retardant. It is highly resistant to the elements but naturally wind, rain and sun will eventually break down the material. Not surprising as the same elements are what destroys our paint, chrome and seat in very short order. Sun will do more damage to an exposed surface in one day than wind, rain and dirt will do in a year. Hence our covers are not indestructible and will eventually self-destruct.
We guarantee our covers to fit to your satisfaction. NO ifs, ands, or buts. If you aren't satisfied with the way it looks, send it back for an immediate refund. As to the length of time they should last depends almost entirely on how much it is exposed to the sun. We try to be fair and with the limitations of the material in mind, replace in full or in part any failed product, reasonable wear and tear considered.

E-Z Touring was started in 1982 by my father Jack Dempsey. He had the idea that a small lightweight cover would be a great advantage when touring, something he loved to do. Unable to find such a cover on the market, he designed his own and took it with him when he rode across the country. Invariably, people would ask where his cover had come from and if he would make one for them. The rest is history. From that first cover, E-Z Touring has grown into a full-time business, yet it remains a family owned and operated company. Our covers are sewn in the United States and our prices have always been very competitive. In today's world, where things seem to be shrinking in quality and increasing in price, our covers have remained the finest on the market.
